Children

Crossroads Community Church loves children! We offer many different high energy areas of learning and growing in our faith, all while having fun! We even have an entire service dedicated to parents and kids - a place where "kids take their parents to learn" called Kidstuf! It is a 45 minute program where parents and kids can be together while we all learn a "virtue" of the month and see how the "kids in the clubhouse" apply it to their lives. It includes music, drama, video, and even a little dancing! Kids of all ages (and adults, too) love Kidstuf! Every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

During our 8:45 and 11:15 services, children attend a program called "Powerup" - a great time of interaction with leaders passionate about teaching the virtues of Jesus and also small group interaction with their friends. Powerup includes music, crafts, video stories, and small group time. Powerup is like Sunday School on caffeine - and the kids love it!

What is Kidstuf? 10:00 each Sunday

What is PowerUp? 8:45 and 11:15 each Sunday

At Crossroads, we try to talk about relevant and common topics that help you deal with real life issues. When it comes to our kids programs, we take the same approach - but on an age-appropriate level. This means that they will be able to participate, have fun, and most importantly, understand. Each month, we introduce a new virtue, for example, "Generosity". All of Crossroads children programs, including Kidstuf, PowerUp, and Discovery Street Nursery, will focus on this monthly virtue. We teach what God says in the Bible about the virtue - in fun, exciting, and interesing ways - using video, drama, music, small groups, and crafts. It's like Sunday School on caffeine - and your kids will love it!

In PowerUp, we emphasize to children that each one of us is a unique and wonderful creation of God. When kids realize that God created them and loves them regardless of their background, where they live, how they dress, or their skin color, they begin to learn about God's unconditional love for each of us. As they learn this, they will also learn to show this type of love to other people. It would truly be a privilege to show your child how to have a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus. We realize that kids in grades K-5 are in their most influential and developmental years and that you, as parents and guardians, want to instill good morals and values in your kids' lives. That is what Crossroads' kids programs do! Here's a secret, while they are learning at Crossroads, they are going to realize something else - Church Can Be Fun! We hope to see you at PowerUp!!
