What is PowerUp?

At Crossroads, we try to talk about relevant and common topics that help you deal with real life issues. When it comes to our kids programs, we take the same approach - but on an age-appropriate level. This means that they will be able to participate, have fun, and most importantly, understand. Each month, we introduce a new virtue, for example, "Generosity". All of Crossroads children programs, including Kidstuf, PowerUp, and Discovery Street Nursery, will focus on this monthly virtue. We teach what God says in the Bible about the virtue - in fun, exciting, and interesing ways - using drama, music, small groups, and crafts. It's like Sunday School on caffeine - and your kids will love it!

A Note From Scott "What Is PowerUp?"

In PowerUp! we emphasize to children that each one of us is a unique and wonderful creation of God. When kids realize that God created them and loves them regardless of their background, where they live, how they dress, or their skin color, they begin to learn about God's unconditional love for each of us. As they learn this, they will also learn to show this type of love to other people. It would truly be a privilege to show your child how to have a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus. I realize that kids in grades K-5 are in their most influential and developmental years and that you, as parents and guardians, want to instill good morals and values in your kids' lives. That is what Crossroads' kids programs do! Here's a secret, while they are learning at Crossroads, they are going to realize something else - Church Can Be Fun! I hope to see you at PowerUp!!
