What is a Life Group?
A "Life Group" is a small group of people (4-12) who meet together regularly to study the Bible, Pray, and Encourage one another and build family-like relationships.  Life groups are the foundation for fellowship and discipleship at
Crossroads Community Church.

 Purpose:
Life groups exist to provide a safe environment where you can grow spiritually and develop meaningful relationships.  As Crossroads grows larger, Life Groups will provide a small community environment that builds relationships and provides encouragement and support on an on-going basis.

    1.  You will begin to really feel like part of a church family.

Everything in life revolves around relationships--everything.  The most important relationship is a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father through His Son Jesus Christ--a vertical relationship.  Horizontal relationships bring the balance God intended in this life.  The best horizontal relationships are becoming connected with other people through a Life Group.

Most people who have been part of a Life Group say the greatest benefit is the close relationships and friendships they have developed.  They will often share things with their Life Group like a prayer request or an exciting event.  You will discover that your needs and problems are not unique-we're all in the same boat.

      2.  You will be able to handle the stresses of life better.

Life Groups provide support in times of crisis and life's pressures.  Your life group will be source of strength and stability.  Many people have said that they could not have made it through a difficult situation had it not been for their Life Group.

      3.  A Life Group is where you will grow.

We believe the Life Group is where significant life change occurs.  Life Groups are where real life and real issues are discussed.  This is the environment where we celebrate together as a group the successes and good times of life, as well as comfort one another during the tough and discouraging times.  It is a place to be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to become a fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
