Right-Side Up Living

Right-Side Up Living
Ephesians 6:13-14
September 25, 2022

Good morning!  It is our favorite day of the week!  We have been talking a few weeks to look at the Schemes of the devil.  He sems to be working hard in the church, families, marriages, and workplaces.  As Disciples of Jesus, we have been given body armor to protect us from his assault.  Let’s prepare our hearts to hear from God and respond to Him as the Spirit leads!   Rick

Ephesians 6:13-14 ESV
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.

Proverbs 4:23
Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For although we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh, since the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments and every proud thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ.

Romans 7:18-18
For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For the desire to do what is good is with me, but there is no ability to do it. 19 For I do not do the good that I want to do, but I practice the evil that I do not want to do.

Romans 8:6
Now the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace.

Ephesians 6:14 ESV

Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.

Ephesians 4:1
Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received,

1 Peter 1:13-17
Therefore, with your minds ready for action, be sober-minded and set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 14 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the desires of your former ignorance. 15 But as the one who called you is holy, you also are to be holy in all your conduct; 16 for it is written, Be holy, because I am holy.

A Word we need to Understand:  _____________________________.

Romans 4:6
In the same way, David also pronounces a blessing on the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from actions:

Remember, _________________ is your Righteousness

2 Corinthians 5:21
He (God) made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
