Sanctity of Human Life Sunday – Looking for 700 Men of Courage!

Question: Has the response of the Christian Church in America been appropriate to the life and death reality that abortion is?

We need the passionate insistence and persistence of ______________­­­­­___________ who fought to end slavery in the early 1800s.

The Foundational idea we need to understand: The Bible teaches that the blood of the innocents cries out from the ground for _______________. Abel literally appealed to God to avenge him.

Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” And he said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground. (Gen 4: 9-10)

The foundation for the next phase in our struggle to end abortion in America must be this… Christian ________________ praying in front of every abortion center in America.

Five key things that happen in the spirit when Christian men pray at the abortion centers:

1. Demonstrates true ________________________

In Isaiah 1, we see a day that is very similar to ours.

I hate your new moon festivals and your appointed feasts, they have become a burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them. So, when you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide My eyes from you; Yes, even though you multiply prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood. (Is 1: 14-15)

Outline of the action required in vs 16-17:

Intro: Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Cease to do evil, learn to do good.

Four required actions:

1. Seek justice – fight with all your might to end abortion
2. Reprove the ruthless – public witness against the abortion industry
3. Defend the orphan – the baby in the womb
4. Plead for the widow – the moms coming in

2. Gives God something to look _________________ at see a change is occurring

Genesis 18: The Story of Sodom and Gomorrah. God could not find ten righteous

Two things God was looking for

1. They were vexed
2. They were willing to place themselves in harms’ way

3. Attacks the gates of _________________ right at the place where the demonic activity is the greatest

This battle for the culture must be fought in the spirit first. But must then also be fought on the cultural battlefield.

So it came about when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed. (Ex. 17: 11)

4. It gives God our ________________ in a way that he can speak to men about what else they should be doing to lead this nation back to God

This nation is starving for the servant-leadership of Christian men in all seven spheres of society

5. It sets in motion a bottom-up _____________________
